Black Bears: Our black bears will be intermittently off-view between Tuesday, October 6, and Friday, October 23, as shingles are replaced on the viewing areas. Thank you for your understanding.

West Gate Closure

Due to significant construction activities in and around Imagine Asia, the zoo’s West Gate will remain closed until at least 2028/2029. This necessary step supports the safe movement of visitors while we undertake exciting improvements to animal habitats and visitor experiences.

How to book your Snow Globe:

  1. Select a Snow Globe package:

    a) Enchanted Winter Feast Package

    b) Winter Chocolate Fondue Package

    c) Classic Cheese Fondue Package

  2. Select the time and date you'd like to attend.





  3. Select the number of guests attending your Snow Globe package. There's a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 guests per Snow Globe booking.





  4. For Enchanted Winter Feast & Classic Cheese Fondue:
    Select your meal and provide any dietary requirements in the note field when booking    .





  5. Add-On a Drink Package:

    a) Celebration package (per Snow Globe)
    b) Frosted Vineyard (per person)

    c) Naughty List (per person)

    d) Nice List (per person)

    e) Santa's Little Helper (per person)





  6. Complete Payment


    Members must be signed into their ACCOUNT prior to adding tickets to their cart.


    - Wildlife Guardians receive a 20% discount and Wild Adventurers receive a 10% discount for this event.

    - Memberships must be valid on the date of the event to receive applicable discounts. Pricing will be auto-applied to the cart.

    - Member tickets are intended for the member only, purchasing tickets with the special pricing for other use is prohibited.

    ADDITIONAL BOOKING INFORMATION: 

  • Tickets are not sold onsite and must be purchased online in advance. Ticket sales end at midnight, three days prior to the event.

  • ZOOLIGHTS begins at 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Explore ZOOLIGHTS before or after your Snow Globe seating.

  • Snow Globes is intended for to the number of guests in your booking (2–6 guests, excluding infants). Other ZOOLIGHTS attendees cannot enter the Snow Globes.

  • Drinks are not included in the Snow Globe packages. Drinks will be available for purchase during your booking. This excludes any pre-ordered Add-On Drink Packages. IDs are required for those being served alcohol.

  • Please note that our menu items marked as GF are gluten-friendly as we are not a gluten-free facility.

  • ParkPlus Parking at the zoo is $14. Wildlife Guardian and Wild Journey members receive free registered parking if they have successfully registered with ParkPlus.

  • Please enter with your tickets at our North Parking Lot and Entrance.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your seating for sufficient time to walk to your Snow Globe.

  • This event concludes at the scheduled time, and guests must exit the globes after their dining experience.

  • Snow Globe tickets are non-refundable. If ZOOLIGHTS is cancelled (e.g. extreme weather,) we will contact you directly to re-book your Snow Globe for a different date.

Dress for the weather! The zoo is open year-round with plenty of areas to explore both outdoors and indoors. Day admission, events, experiences happen rain, snow, or shine. Purchases/tickets are non-refundable. Explore Wilder Institute's Calgary Zoo for more details.
