Animal Viewing Impacts

Black Bears: Our black bears will be intermittently off-view between Tuesday, October 6, and Friday, October 23, as shingles are replaced on the viewing areas. Thank you for your understanding.

Mulch Work: Habitats around the zoo will be receiving fresh mulch on Thursday, October 8. Our lemurs, lions, red river hogs, and wood bison will be temporarily off-view as mulch is added to their habitats. Thank you for your understanding.

West Gate Closure

Due to significant construction activities in and around Imagine Asia, the zoo’s West Gate will remain closed until at least 2028/2029. This necessary step supports the safe movement of visitors while we undertake exciting improvements to animal habitats and visitor experiences.

Additional Booking Information

  • Tickets sales close at midnight 2 days prior to the event; for availability after this date please contact Guest Relations at (403) 232-9300.

  • Infants (under 3) are free, please advise if you have any infants or require a high chair in the note field when purchasing your tickets. High chairs are subject to availability.

  • Guests that wish to be seated with other bookings must add the request in the note field when purchasing their tickets. Tables will not be re-arranged on the evening of event.

  • All special dietary requirements must be pre-ordered 48 hours prior to the event.

  • Menu items marked as GF are gluten-friendly as we are not a gluten-free facility.

  • This event is entirely accessible. If you need to rent a wheelchair or powerchair – please contact Guest Relations at (403) 232-9300 at least 24 hours before the event. These services will not be open during the event without a pre-booking

  • Parking is $14 and is not included. Wildlife Guardian and Wild Journey members receive free registered parking if they have successfully registered with ParkPlus.

  • Please enter with your tickets at our North Parking Lot and Entrance.
