Please note that ZOOLIGHTS, presented by Olympia Trust Company, has been CANCELLED for Sunday, December 18, 2022, Monday, December 19, 2022,Tuesday, December 20, 2022, Wednesday, December 21, 2022 and Thursday, December 22, 2022 due to extreme cold weather conditions. Weather conditions are carefully monitored daily and closures will be posted. Ticket holders will be contacted within 48-hours and provided with an alternate date to attend. If the attendee can’t attend on the assigned alternate date, the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo will work with them to find an alternative solution.
We have opened up a new time to enjoy Snow Globes 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. This time reservation is before ZOOLIGHTS begins. Due to this bookings in the 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. time slot can enter the Zoo anytime after 2:00 p.m. We ask that once you enter your globe at 3:30 p.m. you stay at your snow globe until 5: p. m. as all the animal buildings and zoo grounds will be closed after 4pm in preparation for the evening.
This year’s ZOOLIGHTS is welcoming brand-new rentable Snow Globes to make your next romantic date night, girls' night out, family celebration or other occasion extra special! Enjoy your private oasis surrounded by twinkling lights at this one-of-a-kind experience. Your package includes admission to ZOOLIGHTS along with the rental of a Snow Globe and your selected food and beverage package.
Rentals can be for 2, 4 or 6 people and you can enjoy the Snow Globe for 1.5 hours. Our magical Snow Globes are comfortably furnished including a heater and you will have a dedicated staff member to assist with food and beverage delivery.

This experience takes place snow or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.
In rare circumstances ZOOLIGHTS can be cancelled (ex. extreme weather) – we will contact you to re-book your experience for a different date if this happens.
Snow Globes can be enjoyed by all ages. IDs will be checked for members of your party being served alcohol.
Although each Snow Globe has a heater, please dress for the weather. This will allow you to enjoy the rest of ZOOLIGHTS comfortably and stay warm in the Globe.
Please do not bring additional guests for your globe experience with the exception of children under three who do not need a ticket.
Dietary Restrictions: The following substitution is available for the Decadent Celebration and Tipsy Elf Packages. This must be pre-ordered on the booking page. Vegan Antipasto - grilled and marinated vegetables, bruschetta and crostini - V, VE, DF, GF (substitute GF crackers).
Requests may be made to substitute hot chocolate instead of alcoholic beverages. Request MUST be done in advance by adding to the note field below or they will not be accommodated. Please note there is no price adjustment on the package if hot chocolate is substituted. Cannot substitute beverage in Cozy Cookies Package.
