Animal Viewing Impacts & Building Closures

The ENMAX Conservatory will close at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13th, Friday, February 14th, and Saturday, February 15th, to accommodate set up for In the Heat of the Night (18+) event.

The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo will close at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26th, as we host our annual celebration in recognition of employees who have achieved a service milestone.

Land of Lemurs Walkthrough & Outdoor Gorilla Amphitheatre: The two outdoor animal viewing areas are closed for the season. Lemurs and gorillas will be viewable in their indoor habitats.

African Savannah Yard: Our Hartmann’s mountain zebras and ostriches are off-view  while we complete exciting upgrades in the African Savannah Yard, including the construction of a new Savannah Barn for the animals. Our giraffe tower will continue to be viewable throughout the project.

SEATING AREAS: Choose from three seating areas within the ENMAX Conservatory: The  Nutrien Garden of Life, Garden Gallery or Orchid Garden.

TIME: 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

TICKET PRICE: $125.00 plus GST per person

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION

  • All attendees must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Parking is only available in the North Lot for this event, however, if you require handicapped parking please reach out specialevents@calgaryzoo.com.

  • Seating are tables for 2 - Requests to sit together can only be accommodated for maximum of 2 tables in the Garden of Life or Garden Gallery. 3 tables can be accommodated in the Orchid Garden. Tables must be booked beside each other on the map and must be pre-booked and requested in note field below. Tables will not be moved on the evening of the event.

  • There is a cash bar available.

  • Guests are able to be dropped off at our South Parking Lot located at 1300 Zoo Road NE, however, no parking is available at this location.

After selecting your table and adding the tickets to the cart you will be directed to a page to choose your meal preference. Choose from either the Beef Tenderloin or Vegetarian meal.

Member Pricing

Wild Adventurer and Wild Guardian Members receive a 10% discount but must access by logging into their membership account. MUST BE SIGNED IN PRIOR TO ADDING TICKETS TO THE CART to receive discounts (pricing will be auto applied). Note: Membership must be valid on the date of the visit/experience to receive a discount.
