Animal Viewing Impacts & Building Closures

The ENMAX Conservatory will close at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13th, Friday, February 14th, and Saturday, February 15th, to accommodate set up for In the Heat of the Night (18+) event.

The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo will close at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26th, as we host our annual celebration in recognition of employees who have achieved a service milestone.

Land of Lemurs Walkthrough & Outdoor Gorilla Amphitheatre: The two outdoor animal viewing areas are closed for the season. Lemurs and gorillas will be viewable in their indoor habitats.

African Savannah Yard: Our Hartmann’s mountain zebras and ostriches are off-view  while we complete exciting upgrades in the African Savannah Yard, including the construction of a new Savannah Barn for the animals. Our giraffe tower will continue to be viewable throughout the project.

Time: The event runs from 5:00pm - 9:00pm but you can start exploring the zoo as early as 3:00pm
Ticket Price: $125 +GST

Member Price: Wild Adventure members receive a 10% discount. Log in to your member account to access member priced tickets.

Tickets must be purchased online in advance of the event.
*If you book 8 or more tickets at once you will receive a 10% group discount.

Additional Booking Information:

  • This is an 'adult-only' experience (18+). Guests arriving for this experience with children/infants will not be admitted. No refunds will be provided.

  • This event is entirely accessible – if you need to rent a wheelchair or powerchair – please contact Guest Relations at (403) 232-9300 at least 24 hours before the event. These services will not be open during the event without a pre-booking.

  • Parking  is $13 and is not included. Wild Journey members receive free registered parking.

After you place your tickets in the cart you will be directed to select your Entrée choice and add any additional dietary or seating requests.
