Start your day with an otter-ly unique yoga session in the Brawn Family Foundation River Lodge! This special event combines the tranquility of yoga with the joy of observing our resident river otters.   

WHEN: Friday, May 29
WHERE: Brawn Family Foundation River Lodge in Wild Canada
TIME: 8:00 a.m.* - 9:30 a.m.

*Entry through the North Gate as early as 7:45 a.m. to make your way to the Wild Canada exit where we will gather as a group before heading into Wild Canada. 

Led by Meg Protz of Moveology studio in Inglewood, this all-levels yoga class invites you to unwind, stretch, and connect with yourself and our resident bevy. As you move through your practice, you will likely have a captivated audience of curious otters swimming and playing nearby. 

After the yoga session, all attendees (human and otter alike) will enjoy a light snack to refuel before moving on to the rest of the day. 

What to bring: 

  • Your own yoga mat 

  • A water bottle 

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for movement 

Space is limited, so be sure to reserve a spot. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or trying yoga for the first time, this is an experience you won’t want to miss.

  • Yoga at Your Zoo is for WILDLIFE GUARDIANS & MEMBERS ONLY, aged 16+.

  • You will be required to present your ticket at the gate to gain access to the event.
