Animal Viewing Impacts

Malayan Tapirs: Our Malayan tapirs will not be viewable on Tuesday, January 28th, and Wednesday, January 29th, while their habitat undergoes maintenance.

Land of Lemurs Walkthrough & Outdoor Gorilla Amphitheatre: The two outdoor animal viewing areas are closed for the season. Lemurs and gorillas will be viewable in their indoor habitats.

African Savannah Yard: Our Hartmann’s mountain zebras and ostriches are off-view  while we complete exciting upgrades in the African Savannah Yard, including the construction of a new Savannah Barn for the animals. Our giraffe tower will continue to be viewable throughout the project.

  • Your ticket includes day admission so feel free to explore the rest of the zoo grounds after your exclusive access to Wild Canada.

  • This program is 16+. Guests arriving with children or infants will not be admitted and will not be given a refund.

  • This is an indoor and outdoor event and will proceed rain or shine.
